About us.

Better Days was founded by Laura Quinn and Patrick Cahill in 2023, out of a shared frustration that the people and teams doing important, world-bettering work often struggle to generate the engagement and traction needed to make change happen.

Having lived on four continents helping organisations grow, navigate complex change, launch new initiatives, we saw first-hand that change only happens when it excites. We learned that sharp communications thinking, rich and authentic storytelling and true creative craft are actually very rare.

We saw that when done well, it’s like lightning in a bottle, capturing hearts and minds and making impossible things happen.

So on a beach in Northern Spain on a cold winter afternoon we decided to join forces and create Better Days, with a mission to bring the power of world-class strategic and creative thinking to the leaders and organisations creating change for the better. To make creativity an upstream transformation catalyst, not just an executional layer. And to bring an optimistic, can-do belief and commitment to making our partners' days a little better.

Laura Quinn.

With half her career spent in India and the US, Laura is back home in the UK - for now. She has consulted in corporate responsibility, sustainability and social change for brands, philanthropies, and non profits for the last 15 years and founded one of India’s first specialised CSR consultancies. Before that, she managed client business at top global creative agencies. At Better Days, Laura leads strategy and comms planning with her passion for making people care and act on critical global issues.

Patrick Cahill.

Born in Sydney, now in London — via New York and New Delhi —Patrick has worked with and for some of the world’s most respected creative companies, advising iconic brands, government agencies and high-growth startups, as well as running his own creative consultancy, Cahill&Partners. Patrick leads creative strategy at Better Days, weaving in his passion for geo-politics, economic issues and big macro trends. And sport. And memes.

Our partners.

We are small but mighty, because of the people we work with. We bring together best-in-class talent to create lean, fit-for-purpose teams built specifically for each project. Not only does this keep costs lower, it means you work directly with us and other senior experts that are solely focused on building outcomes that actually solve your challenges.
